In the first half of June, permanent sampling plots for monitoring plant communiies were established. We marked areas of 2 x 2 m at all monitored sites and recorded the first set of phytocenological releves.
The first mosaic mowing took place by mechanization at Dívčí hrady and Na Rovinách, where almost half of the grassland area was mown. Jaroslav Kocourek made some nice aerial pictures using a drone.
The first stage of butterfly monitoring took place within all areas included in the project. At the same time a more detailed monitoring scheme for butterflies and selected arthropod groups at the Dívčí hrady site was also launched.
